Man was missing these videos .... Was not seeing them in my recommended list.
How much are we up to total for the cost of the repairs with the cost of the boat? I've been considering doing something similar but I'm still not sure about it.
when I install one of those I take the blue bottom part out they have holes so you can screw the blue part directly to the boat, so if your pump get clogged while taking on water it's easy to push on the tabs lift the pump clean it an put il back,, it's a safer way to install it
If you think you need a 2K/gal/hr. bilge pump in a very thick hulled "tupperware" lake-boat you obviously don't understand that you will never use it--or if you think you need it you should not be left at the helm. Stick to cars Wiz--this series is making you look stupid, but hey sponsors are $, but what a waste you are promoting at your viewers expense.
I think "curtains" were a total waste of time. They mostly absorb moisture that eventually breeds mold and the snaps will get crusty. Tinting the windows would have saved a lot of time/cost--and in a boat application of this type, who do you think is out there wanting to look at you?
boats looking good wizard
Dear Mr and Mrs Wizard, Tony's Garage doesn't believe He can get Good new points for any Vehicle he works on Do you agree? Foresty Forest installed an oversize Alternator to charge his 200 a/h lithium battery It eats up amp hours in minutes, Great house battery bank
):55 You have fingers Donald Trump would be proud to own...
We have to make sure Mrs. Wizard learns how to drive and dock the boat!
I'm glad to see you're replacing systems, not just junking systems.
Fun fact......one day your Seaflow water pump will start cycling on and off for no reason. You will think there is a leak, you will think there is air in the lines. You will think there is an electrical problem. You will be wrong every time. Eventually you will buy a new pressure switch for the pump, and solve the problem. I always have a spare for mine. At least they are cheap.
I thought Wizards had magic powers. Why so much labor and thinking? Did you lose your wands?
Yes that is a much better pump you bought!!
Wizard I remember on one of your yacht videos you mentioned eliminating waste holding tank. I think you should reconsider and put one back in. Those porta potties don’t hold much and if you’re out for several hours they fill up quick, and they get smelly as well. Just a though, hope she’s ready in time, stay warm.
I think it would be cool if someway you could outline the windows with a light strip, so from the outside the windows were lit up, although the curtains are in place.
Mrs Wizard is on point, custom curtains ain’t easy. Wizard will have to lift his game lol.
my gosh, Wizard, u keep sinking money into that veritable money pit. just get rid of that headache. Mrs. Wizrard, u all spent wayyy too much money on that thing. dont spend any more. it seems every single thing on that boat needed replacing. it was really just a shell with all junk parts in it. u would be lucky, even after you fix it all up, to recover your cost. if Wizard puts his heart and soul into it, and you Mrs. Wizard put ur elbow grease in it, you would be lucky to get $10,000 for it. get rid of it while you can. that boat is never going to see water on your watch. ur too busy with other projects and that one takes up too much space, time, and money. you should have never paid what you paid for it. gosh if you wanted a boat that size my friend had one for $1500. that has twin 350 V8s.
Are you going to call AMMO about the buff out? Love the content Mr. & Mrs. Wizard!!
The bilge pump brackets a bit flimsy really
do you point so much because you're a teacher or is it used to point at mr wizard too lol ..found out how to close the bonnet in the proper manner....to close a xj6/12 hood...stand at the front in the middle and your hand should be able to just lift at that point you will find a grip its part of the grill and you gently lift and i mean gently and it will close, most dont line up as various means have been used, you don't need to click both sides unless the hood is out of shape , its a very awkward to put right when the damage has already occurred, i worked in 6 garages and went artic driving ,but i do have knowledge in the 70-80s if any peeps need a hand ,,,regards Simon London UK ..ace show
Less talking more work🤣
🤘🛥🚤🚣🛳⚓👍
Can't wait to see you guys chillin on this yacht this summer.
Ms. Wizard is such a fine part of the channel! Really complements the Wizard content quite well.

Wizard please don't name the yacht anything like: SS Minnow. And for the love of Pete don't call anyone in the crew: "Little buddy". Follow those two things and your golden.
Love this
Curtain Call for Ms & CW in hot water :)
Hey.."the guy said", "if anything goes wrong with this cheap/ used water heater, will give us our money back"! So, we know it's going to work just fine. No risk at all. Only the best for our "yacht".
Sir , run a accumulator tank they are tiny and will stop the pump from being super annoying. It has air pressure that the pump fights against so it does not have to run so often for small amounts of pressure loss. Think of it as a capacitor for your water system
Those bilge pumps are not made to deal with a catastrophic failure: none are. You would need a crash pump installed (engine cooling intake used to drain the bilge in an emergency) and even that only buys you time. If you have 2,000 gph pouring into the boat you are generally going down. PFD’s and mayday time.
Loved the shot of the wizards forehead reflection in the V area of the boat scene haha
Shouldn't you have cleaned and painted the bilge first. Looks a bit of a lash up.
thank you for the great content, keep it up!
Did you two meet in the military?
We also have a 27' motor boat, here on the Atlantic coast of France. A good size for 2 plus guests. At sea, on lakes or rivers it's a easy boat to handle yet spacious enough for weekending or a bit longer, we have done 2 weeks before without murder or divorce proceedings !
A big torn in the eye is all the crap in the bilge, it will clog up the pump before the first gallon of water vent thru the pump. everything below the floor need to be absolute clean and free of any debris. That make Leak finding easier and its A BIG Safety MUST. But good work there
You are such a howdy!
You can tell Mrs. Wizard is a teacher by her mannerisms. You will have lots of fun this summer.
Wizard, I couldn't tell what the bilge pump brackets were made of, but try to use stainless everywhere. Even in freshwater, you'll get corrosion wherever moisture lives. And - any time you put a screw into the hull (or below-deck bulkheads), put some sealant in the hole before inserting the screw.
Thank you sir. I have been looking forward to this
I live in FL, guess where all the boats are? Yep, on the land...bust out another thousand "boat" is best thing to call that pos
I am just saying , Have we named the yacht.... Wizard.. That is my vote
well done wizard .. I respect people that listen to good advise... by the way ... I am Loving Mrs Wizard
You've got 10 yachts now??????
Classroom? School is open again in the us? No wonder you have half a millions Covid Deaths.
Are you planning on repainting the boat?
Progress 🚤
24.42. why to the middle? if u let one of the sides ti go allllllllllllllllllll over to the bend u will not get the light inn!?
Cue the Duran Duran music.
Almost ready for a spit shine on the outside and then drop it in the lake.
Vacuum out all of that trash in bilge otherwise it will all get sucked into the bilge pump the first time water gets in the bilge and the pump kicks on.
Looks like fun
Shouldn't this be the "yacht #11" vid? I mean the #10 one was gutting the water system. Anyway, I'm loving this series, keep up the good work and I hope to see you sailing soon.
Nice work wizards! That has to be the darkest bilge I have ever seen, including old wood boats. For your next boat might I suggest a good cleaning if not painting a bright white color. Things fall in the bilge and it’s always where you can’t see it, having it clean and bright makes a world of difference.
when you gonna paint that thing wizard
Mrs Wizard knows it is a boat not a yacht. Yachts have sails
What did the marine diesel taste like ?.
Would it have been better to use velcro instead of snaps ?.
Love that you are doing these boat videos as a family project!
The way Mrs. Wizard helps and explains stuff is like the Ms. America speech to every hard working mechanic out there needs to hear. This is exactly why The Wizards are successful
Nice update Captain and First Mate, thinking Mrs. Wizard has a second career as an interior decorator.
A fun project to watch 🛥👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I'm waiting for the theme to Gilligan's Island! Starring the Hoovie as Gilligan, Wizard as the Skipper, and of course Mrs.Wizard as The Movie Star "Ginger"!
Love it when you do a show about your boat. Happy mrs. wizard keeps you on your feet.
Maybe fabricate a screened box to put your bilge pump inside of to keep chunks out of it.
Nice choice on upgrading the bilge pumps. Few items are not worth the cost savings of Chinesium.. I can't speak enough about the assurance of quality bilge pumps when you lose a prop shaft and you start taking on water thru a 1.5" packing hole in your hull..
Thank you!!! Been waiting on a boat update; Mrs. Wizard does not disapoint! Not hard to see why you snagged her up, she is a treasure and a nice lady besides. Wishing you folks all the best of luck on the boat [re]build!!!!
@carwizard anyway to get a price break down trying to see if this is a viable option for some handy people?
Boats n Hoes Boats n Hoes !
Keep the boat trailer.... Don't sell it.... You will regret it
My favorites Wizards doing wizard's magic. I can't wait to see the Yacht doing the world tour.
Been waiting for the boat update 🤘
Love mrs wizards hair and make up ! Great job on curtains too
Is mrs wizard gonna get her own show?
"Get rid of The Seaward" "I'll leave when I'm good and ready"
Make sure the back flow valve works properly on the pumps. Even brand new pumps can be faulty or have junk caught in the valve holding it open. Keep the cheap pumps as a backup, put a plug in lead and hose on them to use anywhere.
WOW AAAAAAAAAAA++++++++++++ again great video I liked it a lot keep up the great work
I'm only here to watch this sink...
My motorhome has that same system on the hot water tank
Awesome Wiz’ess x2! Nice work! You guys should start a channel called “Cars and Yachts” just sayin...
Wizard, You are a lucky guy! Mrs Wizard is a keeper.
Wizard, ALWAYS TWO PIPE CLAMPS on any water line leading to the exterior of the boat. Love your videos!
That hot water heater is very cool -- using either electricity or engine heat to heat the water. Very efficient!
electric bilge pump with an auxiliary manual pump.
1.2 miles per gallon??? I bet I'm close. Probably has twin fuel tanks of 80 gallons each.
How much does that thing weigh?
Is it just me or does the wizard sound sad.
I’d thoroughly bleach and degrease the bilge areas. You’ll regret the first night sleeping on it with the mold that’s in there. Bleach can be harmful to different types of hoses and plastics in the bilge, so just be careful where you use it and be sure to dilute as necessary. Definitely shop vac up all the hard debris as well to keep out of the pumps.
Buy a quality bilge cleaner, we like orpine it kills bad odors.
Always wanted to buy an old scarab sport fishing and restore it. I always thought they were cool 80’s boats.
Still thinking about that zinc thing he painted. Any one else? Hope he gets a new one
Love these boat videos more then car videos and im a car guy haha
Jump to 4:54 for Mr. Wizard’s updates.
that is a big boat, not sure if it's a yacht. My uncle has a yacht in florida and it's huge bigger than my house. it he mostly rents it out on family tours.
Only ONE bilge pump, eh? ...huh.
Glad to see you changed your mind about, “not needing hot water”.
Don’t forget to teach the child how to gently snap and remove those curtains. Don’t assume she knows this.
I noticed Mrs. Wizard had what looked like a large bruise near her neck, is she ok?
Wizard, always apply sealant under any bracket when screwing into wood.
After all things sorted, needs the most important ingredient...summer 😂
