  • Anyone can paint. I, like many of us grew up watching Bob bring the joy of paint into our classrooms and our homes. Such a gentle patriot, he showed us all how to slow down and marvel at the simple things. God, he is missed. Mr. Ross, thank you for making this world a better place. I hope that wherever you are that you’re still painting happy little trees and continuing to bring joy to the universe.❤️

  • I would have assumed that the paintings would have been sold to loving homes appreciative of his wonderful gift but no it seems no one thought to sell them? People don't like that type of art enough to part money with it?

  • There should totally be a Bob Ross museum for all his paintings. I grew up watching him paint and I think it stuck in my subconscious growing up. After getting a degree in college I went back to school to take art courses. Arts and fine arts makes such a difference in people's lives. Quit teaching cause all they ever focused on was STEM and kids lose that creative spark. Meanwhile art, band, music chorus, and theater classes are cancelled cause of lack of funding. It's like the school districts are trying to stomp it out.

  • See that’s what he has thought about, and what I think about too. Why should we buy art when we can make it ourselves. Art is supposed to be here to give you certain emotions, to tell you stories, to make you see colors, and not to be sold for big amounts of money. That’s not how it should work. Because then it’s all about the money, the status and not about the actual meaning of it.

I think the world would be a little bit happier. But then again, some Souls are just far too pure for the human world. Maybe that's why they're taken from us early.

  • Yeah let's not sell them let's just keep them in a room and have our little business work around all these little boxes that are worth so much money that so many people would love to stare at look at even if you don't sell them you should at least start a museum or something to put all this paintings in boxes and just let them sit in some room is pretty disrespectful to be honest the care that is handling into these is disappointing sadly stupid bitchis honestly lol

  • I learned of Bob when I was 15 years old. He played on my local PBS station on Saturday mornings & I had to watch. Even if I came in very late & woke with a man eating hangover 😵 I still got up when my alarm went off to see his magic 🪄. It still plays at 9:00am on that same PBS channel & I still get up when I can, (if I can’t I always tape him and I love to binge on Bob). Though I’m not allowed to even pick up a paint brush of any type (because I paint everything but where I’m supposed to) he still has played a part of my life nearly as long as I can remember. LONG LIVE THE FRO!!!!

  • I don't have any art in my home, but one artist I'd love to have is Bob Ross. I don't care how much they are or aren't worth. I've always wanted one to remember him. As a very unhappy child, watching Bob Ross paint brought me happiness. His gentle, ultra-relaxed demeanor made me feel at peace. Loved his big happy trees. He was the coolest. So sad when he passed. I looked for a Bob Ross for sale too. Laughed when I found this video. Man, the Smithsonian gets all the cool stuff. If Bob didn't want to sell them, have a raffle!
