  • Sorry, but all marvel fims are all candy floss. Fine for kids or retarded adults. . But that is the problem of Hollywood. It's work for the actors and crew, and they love it, of course. but you need the mental age of 12 to enjoy it.

    Jim ClarkJim Clark4 maanden geleden

  • Great interview/conversation. Thank you! One hopefully constructive piece of feedback - it feels a little odd during the intro when you cut to a side angle. We (the viewers) feel that you are speaking directly to us, then suddenly we are watching you speak to someone off-screen, instead of to us. It jumps us in and out of the conversation, which is subliminally jarring. Interestingly, it’s not a problem during the interview, because in that section we are clearly observers rather than participants. It’s not a big thing, but worth a mention.

  • Wonderful Kenneth Branagh -- I so enjoyed this! As an actor myself, it's fabulous to hear actors talking about the craft, especially when all our theatres and pubs are closed, so there's no gathering at the pub afterwards to discuss everything that went wrong in the show. I was wondering which farce they were talking about, and will have to look it up. Honestly, I don't know how I'm going to live without "ROB BRYDON" if this comes to an end at the end of COVID! Please don't let it come to an end...

  • Branagh was filming in Merthyr- maybe 98. The theory of flight, very good film. He filmed some scenes in Cyfartha park. Thing is, I was playing tennis in the background (never spoke to crew). So is that me playing tennis, or is that me playing a character who is playing tennis in the world if the film. So, did I cease to exist whist filmed and become a chsracter? And can I now create a character name retrospectively?

I had seen him and Emma Thompson in look back in anger at the lyric theatre in about 87 or 88. Both brilliant. They got married the day after. By this point he was Helena BC. Who also walked past me that day. Almost fell of my bench. The Theory of Flight. Rubbish film but what a day that was at my old school taking in the sunshine. June 1998 I think.
