Starship SN8 Static Fire #4

SpaceX is set to perform the fourth static fire with Starship SN8. This test will use Raptor engines SN30, SN36, and SN42.

  • I am not a member. Just an abbo on the channel. Received a signal 2 days after the fact. A stream off 5 hours? You can record it and produce a video off 15 min before and after the event. Nobody will sit for 5 hours to wait if something would be a success or a scrub. Staring at the vehicle for 4 hours while nothing is happening is just boring. At the end nobody is waiting for a bla bla for 4 hours. Support you and paying for it. At a moment they return at the same situation they were before they donated. That's a reason never to become a member and donate. A temporary limelight.

  • Maybe the reason they're keeping static fires short is because 3 Raptors are more powerful than 1 and would generate more thrust quicker leading to it needing to be cut off faster completely!

    • I have a feeling they’re firing at reduced thrust to avoid disintegration of the pad underneath. Last test broke apart concrete, causing damage underneath the rocket
