This dude makes me piss myself almost hes done so well for his age ,Id defo go watch him
Did ya aye....
I live in the north east of Scotland and aye, a battered Mars bar is a thing and it’s magic
He's actually telling the truth about the pizza crunch and schoolkids.
I don't get how people can't understand his accent, im not Scottish I'm a londoner and I get him , mind u we have a lot of diffrent accents in London mayb that's why. Brilliant 👏👏👏👏👏
He started so young, he's wicked, very nature hope he never loses that. Love it wicked
How do you know the aliens don’t use earth as a place to take hostages or negotiate? 👽🛸👾
I was doing a 26 month sentence in Barkinnie prison seriously he had everyone in stitches there was other comedy acts but he stole the show first I heard or seen him I bet he enjoyed himself
Gotta ask the 2 obvious questions. What were you in for and any plans on going back again ? :)
seems like such a down to earth bloke. awful interview n crowd though.
Pizza crunch is dynamite 👌🏻
Why is the government allowing prisons to have comedy nights are they taking the piss
In case you missed the point its a reward for good behavior.
Because smarter people than you run prisons.
Lool
I do agree, the Scottish accent makes the jokes sound more brutal. I fecking love it.
I'm 47 but I still expect to see this lad into the ground.
You're a funny bast@7d Kevin, but this was a bit more special than other clips I've seen from you. I especially enjoyed the story of how you got started and your dad's reaction, I got a bit of a lump in my throat hearing that story lol 👊👍😁
For someone so young he just gets comedy. One of the best out there
Kevin is a gentleman, Woss is a patronising wanker
Wossie would have a problem understanding us fae darkest Lanarkshire...we make the Glesga folk sound normal...
I love Kevin Bridges so much, I love him so much - he's hilarious without even trying
Hes jus naterrally funny'.love him to bits..class.
Not many comments haha
I feel like half of these new comments don’t realize this was 10 years ago
he is one hell of a guy and i love the fact that he is so proud of being scottish.
Mon the Bridgemeister. Until I was in my 20s, I never knew you could even get pizza that WASN'T deep fried. That said, every time I go up the road, it's a deep fried haggis supper every time. Munchie box is also for winners, if sightly ambitious
"They do like fried food in Scotland"...what a twatish comment from Ross.....wonder if he ever considered the connection between poverty and a poor diet
Class act, on-stage and off.
Well, I have not been to Scotland for years, but the last time I was there I encountered both the deep-fried Mars bar and a deep-fried pizza. In fact, I bought a pizza without knowing how it was going to be presented (deep-fried). Trust me when I say, it was staggeringly awful, and not fit for human consumption.
An Englishman remarking to a Scotsman on the unhealthy nature of the Scottish diet is prety amusing to anyone who lives in a place where people eat vegetables on a regular basis...
Glasgow is a very strong accent but he definitely lightens it substantially so his accent doesn’t sound that strong in this and that. I definitely have had a good few battered Mars bars in my childhood 😂 my accent is Ulster Scott’s but still have to lighten it up if I’m speaking to people who aren’t used to it 😂
Ah I see, autocorrect. Didn’t even notice, I assumed you were referencing the fact that Ulster isn’t in Scotland.
My point was that you don't seem to know how to spell Scots
@Blue Steel yea I’m half and half
"Ulster Scotts"??....are you sure you are from Scotland
English is not even my first language, but it took me about 1 hour to tune my ear to Kevin's accent, so I only miss a few words now and then.
I loved him from his first show
Hes class act 👏
Ross is so condescending.........
There are some great stand up comedians in Britain and this guys definitely one of them.
So, you're from Scotland, as if Scotland was just up the road from Namibia and Mozambique. Jonathan Ross is such a cockwomble.
Deep fried Mars Bars are certainly not a myth, they have been around for over 20 years in Edinburgh. I think they actually originated in Edinburgh, so if Kevin has never seen one, it may be that this delicacy has never really taken off in the West of Scotland.
they originated in bathgate, but close enough, definitely east coast.
Deep fried Mars bars are all over England as well. Ive never tried one, but when I was in school, everyone loved them
@Laurajayne Nolan I also live in Glasgow and not seen one chippy doing it, however when in Edinburgh they do have them and places like St Andrews. Like in the chippy and it's like 3 quid odd
@JBX you don’t usually pay for them in the chippy, you buy the Mars bar from a garage or whatever and then go in and get it battered for free, I’ve only found one place that charges and it’s like 5p or something but could be different elsewhere 🤷🏽♀️ (Glasgow)
It's just chippies making money off a tourists wanting to try a deep fry Mars bar 😂
Bridges is da man ........ross is a total plonker !!
One of the best if not the best comedian in the UK.
Calling him a “uk” comedian lol. He is class tbf
Why are people in prison getting shows and honest hard working people can't afford to go out to shows .What reward do the honest people get ??
Ayy mate cause there in prison doesn't mean there murders and rapists, most likely it's just how they were raised abd the environment they grew up in
Right now the prison up the road from me in Scotland deliver newspapers, milk and snacks to the cell door in the morning!! They should be chained together and made to clean beaches close by
ten years ago who gives a flying fuck
How wise and level-headed he is even at 23!
@Bronwyn T I guess he was wrong when he said, right there in the interview, that he was 23.
@Maithili Radhakrishnan No he wasn’t. He was in his mid-30s.
@john Evangelou oh yes indeed. But he was 23 at the time of the interview
He’s 33 now.
Genius
Oi Kevin. Clydebank is not Glasgow. Please don't pander to their lack of knowledge.
A lot of the comedians on TV try desperately hard to be funny but are just lame. Kevin is just naturally funny. One of the greatest of the new breed of comedians on TV.
Ross is such a tosser.
absolutely agree!
Yeah, "what about the scottish diet, you know deep fried mars bars"...."thats a British invention" knob
Pizza crunch is deeelish
Where abouts in Australia
Kevin is easier to understand
Love Kevin but that interview seemed so awkward for both Kevin and Jonathan. Its like when your forced to talk to someone but you have nothing to say and nothing in common and you cant wait for it to end :-)
10 years later and he's still fucken hilarious
@Cameron Because some comedy ages/gets dated quickly, but his hasn’t?
Why would he get less funny?
This was broadcasted10 years before the published date.
My mom's 32😂😂😂!
My girlfriend is about as good at English as I am, but she has trouble understanding Kevin. I pity her. She misses out on quite a few laughs.
😉
AYE ... I PITY YOU ... WITH A COMMENT LIKE THON ... YER NEVER GETTIN' THE RIDE AGAIN BIG SON LOL !!!
How can't people understand Kevin its ridiculous. Only thing I don't understand is some of the regional slang he uses because we don't use it
@Desert Bunny! Hi I don't know some of the slang either but I understand what he is saying
I’m in the USA and I can understand him clearly minus the slang. He’s hilarious
@Johannes - Hi I live in England about 50 miles from the Scottish border so we are lucky enough to be able to take a drive into Scotland very easily. Scotland is a beautiful country and from my experience the people are very pleasant and friendly , I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a visit to Scotland .
@Alternative Perception Thanks alot :)) Ive never been to england or scotland but im planning to after corona is done fuccking everyone :D
@Johannes - had the pleasure of visiting Germany about 12 years ago , lovely County and very nice people 👍👍✌
