Which is the strongest pure elemental metal? Tungsten / wolfram, Magnesium or Bishmuth? How many tons they can take? We are going to test that out with our 150 ton hydraulic press and 150 ton force sensor. Don't try this at home! we are professional and all people were behind really strong blast shield and had personal protection equipment.

Do not try this at home!! or at any where else!!
Music Thor's Hammer-Ethan Meixell
W-w was all I got from this video.
How strong is titanium? stronger than your press
Fun fact: Every time my Wife beats me I die a little inside...
Tungsten carbide (as well as other carbides) is very brittle, so I guess it'd shatter to pieces
I think my head withstand more :D
I think it will be good if u also provide temperature 🌡️
With the softer metals, couldnt you flatten them like the Play-Doh?
I remember when this channel had balls .
where did they get that cubes?anyone pls tell me
At round about 100 tons it definitely started deforming, maybe earlier. But that is hard to tell since it mostly dented the tool beforehand.
What the heck is the metal made of on your hydraulic press??
I think when you get the safety box all built, you should add in cadmium, gold, silver, zinc, and platinum to crush along with the nickel cube.
W
Depleted uranium would probably damage the press.
The strongest metal is what the hydraulic press made
Wow im so surprised Tungsten is better than Titanium in this comparison
I heard something doom demons skins equal to tungsten or even more then that powerful I heard something like that on google
Oh Boy new box! You can finaly crush some uranium cubes :D
The problem with thungsten is that it cant be melted and made into a cube by normal means. People use powder metallurgy to form mechanical thungsten parts by compresing mix of thungsten powder and other metals at high temperatures. If pure thungsten was smelted into cube then it would be much more harder! You can see the smaller cube being crushed to dust, but that is misleading because its not "solid" piece of thungsten.
today on HPC we are going crash our press table with a Tungsten cube
Dr stone anyone?
7 tons = supersoft
remembering that they using tungsten for tank warhead
Piot twist : a hydraulic is tungsten
titanium wont press i bet
i guess they did it already
Huh Tungsten was oddly brittle
and the nickel? great press videos. xD
Next material to test: depleted uranium. :D
Toongstun 😁
What are the prices for these lil cubes? Does anyone know?
Thats soopær soft
I wonder if there is anything strong enough to break the hydraulic machine
Tungsten is stronger than vibranuim
Magnesium is weak
Tungsten is Super Tough
Is there a possibility to make 2 presses go to each another? Like one upside down and another facing down and make them fight until the entire setup explodes?
Who else came here after demolitionramch
next time try beskar ;-)

First block of tungsten: *dies* Second block: I shall resist Third block: *wasent here because it could obviously resist the press
its cold wielding
So, this cube took roughly 20k bar of pressure. A plutonium pit in a nuclear weapon experiences several million bar of pressure in a couple of microseconds when the shock waves of the explosives around it converge.
Watching a cube get squished is so satisfying
pretty sure that tungsten was sintered and not actually a solid piece
What type of metal is the press made of?
Please test Maraging 350 or Aluminum 7068 Alloy!!
You guys must have the most interesting collection of drink coasters😄
I’m sorry but: “poor toongstang” cracks me up
That block of tungsten can probably support the weight of a fully-loaded A330
The bismuth almost looked like a metallic block of wood when you were done with it.
I’d love to see more precious metals crushed like gold and silver. Even stones like cubic zirconia, sapphire, and diamond. Love your work!
His head looks like a Kiwi fruit.
Hydraulic press: I am scared of no material... But that thing (tungsten) scares me
"super soft" 6ton lmao
Try Uranium!
I love my earbuds, mine cost 45 usd, 9 hours per charge. And the case has 150 hours of charge and as a portable charging unit.
Tungsten literally means heavy stone.
I love how you can see the W on the first cube, even after it was crushed
My wedding band is made of Tungsten. 7years in, forever more to go!
Aren't the press heads themselves made out of a tungsten alloy?
I have a pair of those ear buds. They are great. Really bump the sound. They are crisp sounding
Fun fact: you need a plate made out of tungsten
Neeext teest must be URANIUM or PLUTONIUM
What type of gauge are you using to determine how many pounds of force your putting on an object? I recently got a 20 ton press, and would like to get a gauge for it so I can tell roughly how much force its putting on the stuff I crush with it.
Thumbnail looks like the wikipedia logo
XD
My wife's pork chops are tougher then tungsten. I should send you one for the test.
Where do you get those cubes from?
Hey, why Tungsten crashed? In the channel "crazy russian experiments" it did not/
Even bullet cannot go through the tungsten, you can watch the video at youtube channel demolitionranch
Do rolls of coins
The bismuth looks really cool when pressed. It actually looks like it's melting. Maybe it is.
Sell it or give away
3:55 a dentist could help you with that
If you were to try and press tungsten carbide it would severely damage your tool steel anvils you are pressing with. General Electric used to make synthetic diamonds in extremely high pressure 'belt' apparatus presses in what was called their 'diamond mine' lab, where a tungsten carbide cylinder comprising the die had to be pressed inside a very hard tool steel belt. On occassion if the cylinder was misaligned with the hole in the steel belt when pressing it in, the tungsten carbide would cut right through the tool steel like it wasn't there..I've seen this happen firsthand. These presses were capable of ~ 500 tons if I recall. There was even a press that was ~ 2 stories tall capable of ~ 2 million pounds (1000 tons).
The grain orientation differs across the samples.
next time heat the tungsten up, 100c 200c and 300c
By the way .. can you count the tonnage in the voice of the ‘Count’ from Sesame Street? “1 .... 2 .... 3 tonnes ... Hah ... Hah ... hah ... haaaah!” Etc. I think you’d make everyone’s day here in the western world 😉
I wanna see you do a vibranium cube next!!
Stronger then ur momma
Ied say it was more like 14 ish ton as that’s when the metal started to really move and then crumble at the edges. The big piece started to deform at about 122 but it’s was sinking so it may have been an optical illusion, personally I can’t wait to see that other material we discover or make in the years to come.
Why... WHYYYY is this so fascinating?!?! 😂😂 Awesome work, sir!!
Bismuth gonna mush is my guess.
Everyone's gangsta till a 2 in x 2 in cube supports 150 tons
I was just wondering where exactly do you get these blocks?. Hopefully you'll see this and reply. Thank you and have a great new year.
I have the 4 inch W cube. I wonder how many tons to crush it.
But why didn't tungsten go inside the head of the press and only into the bottom? Are they made of different things?
How did the press head not get damaged by 140k pounds pressing on it
This guy's accent gives me ear headache.
I only see one thing 1:45
So you're not gonna press the bluetooth earbuds?
How much did each cube cost?
Tungsten is stronger than titanium lol
poor tungsten :(
Try Uup element 115
Try bimolebidenium!
So after this you will test the strength of depleted uranium?
Holy mother. Did the Wolfram just impact-weld itself to the steel base?
Someone should give this guy a diamond
Is it raycon tungsten?
